Homemade deodorant
5-6 tablespoons coconut oil
¼ cup arrowroot powder (or cornstarch)
¼ cup aluminum free baking soda
Optional – add 10-20 drops essential oil drops for aroma etc. (lavender, etc)
Homemade Laundry Soda
1 bar grated fels-naptha soap
1 cup borax
1 cup washing powder
Whisk together in a medium bowl, then blend together in at least two batches in a blender until it forms a powder.
Store in an airtight container
Use 1-2 tablespoons per load
Fabric Softener
Add ½ – 1 c. vinegar to your softener dispenser
Bleach Alternative (Laundry)
¼ c. hydrogen peroxide
Stain Remover
Liquid laundry soap
Hydrogen peroxide
Baking soda
Get stain damp with water. Put laundry soap on stain and scrub fabric together. Sprinkle baking soda powder over stain and pour a small amount of Hydrogen peroxide over it to make a paste. Rub fabric together with paste. Let sit for 1 hour.
All Purpose Cleaner: Vinegar and a few drops of Thieves or Lemon Essential oil
